Trying to be constructive.......

and looking on the bright side, in Grant we have a player who will score goals. In McDonald we have a youthful energetic goal hungry lad - with some experience it will come, especially if Grant takes him under his wing.

What is letting us down is the back four (five if you count theo! - Ben, you're absolved!)

The Doc has become questionable over the last 2-3 seasons, and this season looks slower and more clueless as ever! Theres ZERO leadership from him and I feel the rest of the defence are dragged down toi his level - with the exception of semi, whoi is simply s**t at defending! I dont care if he looks good with pace going forward - no point if you cant fulfil your primary role - DEFEND!

Spillane looks like he could be good at this level IF he is given some guidance (Doc?) and Askew looks ok too - and at least he'll get us 3-4 goals a season.

Alnwick had shown Theo how it should be done, so all in all a new centre back, full back (one that got 2 feet would be good!) and goalkeeper would be nice!
