There was some good stuff

Flock of Seagulls, Sigue-Sigue Sputnik, Talk Talk, OMD. etc.

It's just picking the short lengths of gold thread, from a fat bloke's shellsuit.

It's the Stock, Aitken and Waterman bubblegum pop that overshadowed some great music, that never got airplayed or hyped to the hilt. So it remained a minor hit.

The 80's were great, it's finding the hidden gems, amongst the sheer amount of crap that's the difficult thing.
