The team today is somewhat ironic.............. ..

as it was close to the squad I expected to see this season..........

I thought players like Smith, Adeyemi and Rudd would be regulars..........

I think its interesting that Lambert suggested our squad is too big...........
I cannot remember a manager ever saying that in the history of football!

Could be he is preparing us for ceratin players being sold.............

I did have a feeling he would abandon Hoolahan for a more solid shape...........

Obviously dropping a ton of senior players and brininging in some of the younger players he is making a STATEMENT..........
He is telling the whole squad that everyone has a chance to play and anyone can be dropped.

He also made a statement to the fans today that HE is in charge and will pick the team HE thinks will do well NOT the team the fans think will do well.
