what a bit of non-news

why the hell couldn't they have just done this yesterday? i suppose they only came up with the idea yesterday and then gave him the night to sleep on it, but they didn't need to build it up like they did. Don't they realise that they've just wasted an hour of my very precious worktime and made me stress over nothing? They could have at least said 'press conference to announce good news about ashton'.
