I'd hate to read one of his worse ones then

I got as far as this piece of inane drivel and gave up:

"And I'm not just talking about the embarrassing 7-1 defeat at home to Colchester United or the horrible scenes which followed the fourth goal when two fans ran on to the pitch to show their disgust. While that was bad enough, to my mind it was the events that followed which highlighted just how much of a shambles our club has become".

In nine days following the Colchester debacle McNally identified his new manager and has him in place. He has now also got the new back room team in place. There is precisely nothing shambolic about that.

Some examples of shambolic things - getting rid of Grant and then being so unprepared that the idiotic Duffy was left to lose us three more matches. Or, is correctly pointed out, re-appointing Bryan Gunn straight after our worst result since May 1939 and before the new board is in place.

The actual point is that the club has been a shambles for years BUT FOR THE LAST FEW DAYS IT HASN'T BEEN. The danger is that Mr & Mrs Wynn-Jones will revert to type and prevent McNally carrying out his good works. That is what we should worry about, and distract ourselves by thinking that the fans' reaction or anything else matters a jot. It doesn't.
