He was mentioned as the person who phoned the Col. Utd chairman right after the Wycombe game (while he was having drinks in the boardroom!) asking

for permision for Norwich to speak to Lambert.......

As you can read below Delia/MWJ and (at least) 1 other board member has been at the last 3 managers press conferences.
I assume they were at Worthys in 2000 as well although I didn't search too hard.
