We were dubious at first when Lambert took over as he'd never seen a project through (walked away from Wycombe after blowing the playoffs) but he got us out of a sticky spot after Williams got off to a rotten start last year.
Still had problems with our home form in the new stadium but we made up for it on our travels. Suffice to say that last week's comments on here about Gunn being sacked after bringing a load of new players in are now being echoed from our perspective.
He'll bring a bit of professionalism back after your last few months of misrule but we'll have to wait and see.
Obviously there are a lot of unhappy bunnies on our boards at the moment and he'll definitely go down in our books as the 21st century version of Burley.
I keep an eye out for you lot having grown up just the other side of County Hall, but it's a bitter pill at the moment.
Bloody football.
