This has probably all been said but I'm about to ramble...

...why now?..

I didn't want him as manager when nearly everyone here said how pleased they were and I didn't want him when the wreckage of last season had begun to settle; but Gunn it was and despite not agreeing with it and despite the events of a week ago I'd already long decided to get behind him as, well, he was the manager...

And I strongly suspect that some of the players that have come in are good ones for where we are, an even smaller amount may be even better...it was good to see a Norwich manager really going for it and knocking that no early signing bollocks well and truly on its head and bringing the likes of Grunter in...

Iwan's right, well, I think he is, to say that it makes no sense to do it now...if DM is behind this he must have been in advanced talks with the board when they were in the process of giving Gunn the job and would have made his feelings known then...

He wasn't the right man, he should never have been put in this position in the first place, but to sack him after 2 games is harsh - 7-1 or no 7-1...

Having said that the moment he was made boss it was always going to end in tears as they nearly always get sacked, especially at Norwich these days, which means that a great reputation, such as Gunn's, was always gonna end up in the knackers yard...

Which is a crying shame cos he's Norwich through and through and there ain't many of those around in the modern game and now that devotion to the cause will not be a part of the club (I'm assuming) and that will be missed about CR I'm sure...

Delia and MWJ have well and truly cocked this one up (which is saying something) and unlike many other manager's (Walker's the only one that springs to mind under this regime) I feel rather uncomfortable how this has all ended mainly because they've allowed a true Norwich legend to be hung out to dry in this way - very poor behaviour..

What a mess...

Good luck Gunny...
