actually the football we played under MON was incredibly tedious

I recall it all too well. Didn't we have 2 home game sjust before MON left and drew with Stoke and lost to Southend or something. Both dire, sterile performances. MON was (as he was at leicester) a hoofball merchant. Very effective in terms of results but not remotely pretty to watch.
