they can't all play every game. And the players who replaced Theo and Nelson were also players we got in during the summer, so why shouldn't they play.

That's the advantage of a decent sized squad - you have options so you can find the best one.

Some people have been bleating that we should have concentrated our cash on one player for each position so they could be better quality - but they could still not work out and then we'd be stuffed with no back up.

The fact that we have good 'backups' in the likes of Askou and Alnwick shows the positive aspect of our summer buying policy, doesn't it?
