A lot of the time a manager sees what 20000 people don't see

the players during training.

I should think the coaching staff saw the errors that were made when they watched the DVD, they would probably know better if these faults can be ironed out or not through extra training and whether the player is mentally capable of improving performances.

However the c**ts in the stand are suddenly experts after witnessing one bad day at work and are prepared to cast a player to the scrap heap.
