BECAUSE THEY PAY TOO MUCH IN WAGES

Why is this so difficult to understand?

If you spend more than you take in then a) you have to sell players b) directors have to dip into their pockets c) you fall into admin.

If the club haven't balanced the books this season then they need their heads examined; after all, with 18 players given contracts this summer then there is no excuse for not being able to predict our income and pay appropriate wages.
