McNally - Pretty serious man, think he knows just how f**ked we are but is desperate to get us out of it. Don't think he would have voted for the Gunn appointment is a feeling I got. Now for the facts:
He kept repeating it was a results business and Gunn would be judged on this.
He is the only person at the club who has convinced them that they have taken Saturday very seriously.
He described the finances as 'dire'
He said the one aim this season is Promotion.
He said at least 3 times that the result was completely unacceptable. He also said the club will conduct an independent inquiry into the fans running on the pitch and the events after the game and outside involving Wes Hoolahan.
'This year we had very negative cash flow. Club has too much debt on the balance sheet. We need to sort that out.'
Gunn asked for 2 players for every position this season then plus the young professionals.
