"Byfield headed in the first goal by outjumping two defenders taller than him.

His second bobbled in off his knee after (Tony) Warner and Darren Ward hesitated to clear a long punt through the middle.

The hat-trick was sealed when Byfield finished a dazzling move on the break and he tied up number four by rounding the hapless Warner and slotting the ball neatly into the far corner.

In between, Warner fumbled in Martin McIntosh's hopeful 30-yard free-kick and Chris Sedgwick's drive got his name on the scoresheet."

Millwall finished the season in 9th place, just behind Norwich.
Rotherham finished about 15th.
