surely if they start winning then that'll be OK?

Saturday was obviously sh*t beyond belief, albeit it came down to the 10 minutes in which we conceded 4 goals - the 70 minutes after that the players were I suspect (like us fans) in shock so I'm prepared to accept that what went on wasn't a fair representation of their abilities.

But if, say, we win the next 3 games surely it will show that things are going fairly according to plan regardless of Saturday (which was only one game in 46, however horrendous - after all, even the team that came 3rd in the Prem lost a game 7-1 that season)?
