Never had a problem with them myself...

...we've got a Kag in a Bag and an Easy Pac Jacket...but then I'm not sure how much heavy weather abuse they've had to face.
Face it: if it's pissing it down at V in late August then if you're not gonna get wet by the rain you'll be drenched in sweat from wearing one of those anyway.
