There's quite a few 'great outdoorsy' type shops in the City now...

...but again, if you're just after a cheapy jobby you don't mind getting trashed then perhaps have a look at the market (I think that one in the corner next to the toilets is the one you'd want).

Out of the shops, you'll probably get the best deal at Millets, and on a brand like Regatta which aren't your top spec North Face style but aren't shoddy either.
