I just think it's so vital to start with a win...

I think the fans are positive after a good pre-season... But we're an increasingly fickle bunch, and if we don't take that promise into the first game it could hamstring us for the first few games.

Whereas, if we win, I think the team and fans will really believe that we're in for a good season.
