I quite like it. Might find a gem or two, but more importantly if we can find

four squad players who can just do a fairly competent job when we have injuries, then probably their wages wouldn't be too high and it is better than blowing our wad on loanees who don't want to be here. At least trialists are often at the last chance saloon so will give effort.

I like that he is looking at a lot of them as obviously there is a reason they need to go on trial, so the quality ratio is probably quite low.
