kind of not agressively straight, more diagnol, fingers spaced apart
Then cut through the water*
*You need to learn the kind of s shape powering once you're hand is in. Ie, hand goes in, quick sideways pull, then a kind of semi circled stroke, ending at the hip
From there you learn to stop ending the stroke like that, and you learn to push/flick the hand passed the hip, then out, and repeat
Ending the stroke at the hip is a waste of energy, lengthening it will mean over time you'll only stroke 10-15 times a length
