Some encouraging bits. On the whole we were the better

team. I feel Palace were a bit half paced. My highlights would be as follows:-

Theoklitis - Not very tall but agile, shouts a lot, comes out and commands his area. One very good save.

Spillane - Did very well, good interceptions, when he could get forward did well.

Doherty - sometimes ponderous but better than has been. Plays well with Nelson.

Nelson - impressive, solid, no frills.

Drury - normal Drury like consistency

Whalley - looked disinterested at start got better and better.

Gill - some good passess - looks a bit lost at times

OTJ - got stuck in, some good passess.

Houlahan - very tricky - very influential

Holt - battled away - made the goal - will score lots in league one.

Martin - busy but ineffective.

All in all some good play and we looked like a team with some structure. I cant see who plays well with Holt though.
