For those that are wondering what the hell twitter is good for:

This little site searches live twitter updates for any word you like and displays peoples tweets with the relevant word. When people tweet something with a key word they give it a #tag. For example if you go to twitterfall tonight whilst the game is on and add a new search item on the left of the page for #ncfc and clear all other searches it will show you any tweet that anyone in the world is posting to twitter with "#ncfc" in it and it will show them live.

It's a great way of following any large events in the world. It worked quite well during the G20 protest a few months back you got loads of people tweeting about the police brutality and what not.

As you can update twitter from a simple text message you can see how easy it would be to follow events.
