I've had a few different types of shavers over the years. I did occasionally get a

rash with those ones that have foil over a set of blades that moves from side to side, but I've had absolutely no problem ever with the ones with three rotary blades.
Ok, so you dont get such a close shave as with a wet razor, but no more ingrowing hairs and no more painful neck rash or razor burn
