Why oh why oh why did they give Jamie Cureton a 3-year deal?

Even I could see that was a bad idea.

BTW, just checked whether it was a 3 or 4 year deal on Wiki and found this:

"Jamie Cureton is being linked with a move to Wymondham Rangers for a reported 6 footballs, 2 cashew nuts and a bag of oranges. Rangers are willing to offer Jamie a trial involving trying to hit a barndoor to earn a contract."
