I don't know the answer but, on a similar theme...

Why did he leave Forest? Why go back to a relatively tin-pot club like Shrewsbury? His record is good, he scores goals wherever he goes... but it troubles me that Forest were so quick to get rid of him and that no-one better than the Shrews were prepared to take him on. And for only ?170,000.

I'm sure he's the right player for us, but it's this part of his career that confuses me a little. Was he really SO unsuited for the Championship?
