instant reaction?

Say you were sat opposite de menezes when he was shot in the head? Would you have sent text/twitter (not sure what a twitter is and how you send it to be fair) during the immediate aftermath? and if you did I doubt that you would have formed an instant firm opinion on the innocence of the victim. I seriously doubt it.
