Gunn says that he has received an answer about Maric contract offer

but will not reveal until next week. What can we read into this then?

If its a no, i see no reason not to mention now ats its surely a case on moving on. Why prolong? Also, it gives a further incentive to someone like Bright (though he sounds sh!t anyway.)

If its a yes, it might make sense to wait 48 hours so that he can have a private chat with Bright (another striker on trial). I think its just a case of being a bit sensitive to Bright as until he is formally told he is not wanted, it would be better to announce a possible Maric signing at that time.

Any other thoughts?
