Techie help please - canaries world and pinkun

When I view these on my laptop computer the first 5 seconds works ok but whilst the sound remains fine after I just get photo updates of the video at 3 second intervals.
Is there any update programme I need to get them to play properly on the laptop. Incidentely youtube etc works fine.
