and obviously moaning is foolish when we have just managed to get relegated to the third teir since May 1939. Personally I think Nelson, Whalley and Holt (if he comes) are potentially good signings. And any two of the three central mifielders would be OK.
The theme that seems to be emerging is that Gunn doesn't rate the Academy products, if Adeyemi is anything as good as touted then I really can't see the sense in buying three central midfielders to play ahead of him. And whether you like it or not Rudd is certainly old enough to sit on the bench, but what has happened recently is that he has played against men as opposed to his contempories for the first time.
