Life After Worthy?

I think the end is nigh for Worthy. I?m not going to boo him or his team or jump on a bandwagon but logic dictates that he may have taken us as far as he can ? which is a pretty long way to be honest. Unless we turn things around in the next couple of games I think he?ll be gone in September unfortunately.

My biggest concern is who to replace him. Speaking to a Villa fan on Saturday about the possibility of O?Leary going to Newcastle, I asked him who was out there to replace O?Leary ? his answer after much ummming and arrring was Souness?is the managerial market really that bad!!

Aside from a real up and comer like Mike Newell ? who isn?t going to leave Luton or Steve Cotterill, who is out there that would fulfill our expectations and take the club to the next level? Anyone saying Bassett, Atkinson or Kinnear need to hang their head in shame.
