Well, there's 7 subs this year... so you can have plenty of options on the bench.

If Hoolahan gets injured you have Pattison as first choice left-mid with Lappin on the bench. Or maybe against less rough teams you have Lappin on for his cracking dead-ball deliveries. He's a left-footed David Bell... slow, lightweight but a great crosser. Don't see why Roeder rated Bell but not Lappin.
