So Cavendish not the greatest sprinter in the world after all then?

One of the many crap things about the TdF is that it's really only one event (who can win at the end), but in order to throw bones to other people they invent little sub-genres of race in a transparent attempt to make it a bit more interesting. It's like having prizes in a marathon for the person who runs fastest on the uphill bits, and the person who had the longest stride, and the person who ran the fastest every third mile.
