WTF is Worthington On ?

A quote from Worthington after last nights match:

"I thought the teams played very well and put up a good fight. From our point of view our attitude was first class. We passed the ball well, created chances and hopefully we can carry that on in the league"

Is he losing the plot ?, I had the misfortune to watch that drivel last night and MKDons should have won the game easily having created a host of clear cut chances, with regards to us creating chances and passing the ball well did I miss something ?

IMHO These are worrying times as at the moment we do not have a midfield, I know that it is an entirely new midfield and is early in the season, but things do not look @ all promising..... Please someone here reassure me that it will all be alright !
