Cavendish....

this run - the last 2 years on the Tour - is one of the *great* sporting efforts.

Dunno how much longer he can keep it up for, but it's absolutely f*cking fantastic.

Only shame is that his achievements aren't really appreciated at home much. Although I suppose on the other hand that'll improve his quality of life, presumably.

Anyway, a properly great British sporting achievement.
