I think everyone is in agreement with that

but we can't do much about it now. It's the fact that pants has stated for the cases of Grant and Roeder (both failures and in the case of Roeder, a persistant failure) solely revolved around the fans getting behind them and not turning on them. He liked Grant and Roeder so didn't turn on them but doesn't have much time for Gunn so he is doing exactly what others used to do for the managerial appointments they didn't like. Which is fair enough as long as he can accept that people were right to criticise and get on the backs of Grant and Roeder.
