Procedure: Lost TV remote control

Step 1: Ask the entire household where it is (shouting helps)
Step 2: Accuse spouse
Step 3: Ask again but this time shout even louder
Step 4: Ransack Settee in a frenzied style
Step 5: Accuse everyone:
Step 6: Re-check Settee
Step 7: Accuse Settee
Step 8: Cave in and turn TV over manually
Step 9: Sit back down
Step 10: Stand up as you have sat on remote
