How many more signings needed?

Definitely a goalkeeper and a "number 9." I would be really happy if we captured Dickinson. He seems to score goals wherever he goes and hasn't been given a chance by Derby. I suspect they are holding out for ?500k for him though.

Other positions - I think we need a right winger to replace Croft. Looks like Neilson is being looked at and they may play Korey Smith there from time to time. I presume Clingan will go, but Russell might stay. If that is the case we are okay in centre mid with Tudur-Jones, Gill and the young'uns. Left wing lets hope we can keep Hoolahan, think he could be a star in league one. If we can't we only have Lappin so that will be another position to look at!

Defensively - I am starting to think cenrtre back will be okay with Stefanovic fit, Doherty, Nelson providing experience and the likes of Spillane and Dumic/Stephens signing pro contracts. Right backs, we have Otsemobor but I could see Spillane possibly being number one there and Smith again providing cover. Left back could be one to look at with Drury the only recognised one. Not too confident of Lappin providing cover so that could be one to look at. Out of interest, I wonder how much Plastic would cost to sign permanantly. 20 years old young left back in league one he could turn out to be a star.

So, it leaves up front and in goal - at Number One I would like someone older who would realistically provide support and experience for Rudd (a little like the Crichton/Green situation). I think Rudd can do it, and I wouldn't like a 24/25 year old to come in permanently who would keep Rudd out of team for a few years. Up front, as I say Dickinson but hopefully two more strikers. Both big buggers. I wish we could sign Dele Adebola, think for one year in League One he would batter a few around!

Could be an interesting week with a lot of work for Gunny and co!
