no - he is an excellent player

as I said, defence is his strength and he is superb at it (otherwise he'd have been hammered today). But against quality hitters like Roddick (and Gonzo in the French), if they are having a decent day sometimes that isn't enough. To take it to the next level I think he needs to be able to more aggressive when required, and i haven't seen that from him for ages (he looked totally incapable of it today)
