and yeah its sad he died, and while we're at it, i never really liked his music but can appreciate how influential it was to generations, not least his live performances etc etc etc.

My real point is that couldnt people see this self destruct happening? As an adult HE made HIS OWN decisions and you cant blame everything he did on a sad childhood.
