we have to become at identifying cheap lower league players with the potential to step up

it's what we USED to be good at (remember Bruce, Williams, Newman to name a few). maybe actually playing in the lower league's will help us identify them better.

We had a higher wage bill than Burnley last year (and when we got promoted there were quite a few teams with higher wage bills than us). It's a case of getting the chemistry right, and getting a bit more luck with injuries than we've had recently.
