it is a fact that many middle class parents, when confronted with the fact that Tamsin and Toby aren't quite as bright as they'd like them to be, use dyslexia as an excuse. The genuine condition is, as Alan says, very genuine indeed. Interesting cause in his case too; several dyslexics I've known have been premature babies.
