my new Sky viewing cards have arrived - pens help req

hypothetically speaking, if a "friend" of mine say, had a sky box and he had taken it out of the environs of the yewnited queendom to a "forrin country" would the replacement of the old sky viewing card with the new one set off a radio beacon transponder signal to S.M.E.R.S.H. and enable them to get missile lock on me, i mean him, or would it all work perfectly normally?
