George Formby was cool as, by the way

no-one should disrespect GF.

As well as being a great musician and comedian, he was incredibly rude ("with my little stick of blackpool rock"....) *and* he was an anti-apartheid campaigner at a time when most people took racism for granted.

He rocked.
