from what I remember

the money was pretty much what Cambridge needed for survival at the time, and there was certainly some thought that they'd lost a gem. I think it's harsh to call him a journeyman when he was a young player at Cambridge and then went to Coventry.
It's been clear from the start that we were going to lose Clingan; he's not *that* amazing (sorry) so if we can cash in on him now and get a player who is probably more than adequate for this level.
