My grandparents

had the following staff (which was regarded as perfectly normal at the time):

cook
indoor maid (no, I don't know what an outdoor maid is either)
housekeeper
gardener/driver
gardener's boy

Whereas (leaving Scotlkand out of account) I have to make do with Tattooed Tony (garden/oddjobs) and Bianca the Daily Girl (ineffective cleaning).

How times have changed.
