well that's sort of my reading of the Munby 'Norwich people' type quotes

i do think the owners do know the fans weren't happy and i do think that they'd prefer happy fans and i'd hope that they weren't happy either - though i imagine they might've thought it better not to show there was a rift with a manager that had just pulled off 'The Great Escape', while probably coupled with a naivity that had them thinking "he's just pulled our nuts out of the fire, he's the one that knows about football, therefore we should treat his word as gospel"
