The agency im doing work for are terrible for that

I've been rung up at 7am and half 9 at night asking me if I can go into work there and then. I once did a night shift, 7pm-7am, I was on the bus on the way home about half 7 in the morning, got a phone call saying someone hadnt been able to go into work and could I go in. They are unbelievable at times.
