I registered with a London recruitment agency last June and, by November, they had only put me forward for two jobs (both with the same company). I would phone them whenever I'd heard nothing new from them and they would tell me that if they had any updates, they would contact me. I last heard from them in September when the permanent agent said that she was going to arrange an interview for another job. She never got back to me on this and I never bothered to chase her.
Instead, I registered with another recruitment agency, who found me a job within two weeks. I have been working at the company I work at now since November, have had one promotion since then and am now part of the furniture.
Suddenly, out of the blue, the old recruitment agency emailed me today ask what I was up to and whether I'm still looking for a job. Should I just politely say 'no thanks' or should I respond with an in-depth rant, telling them I found work through another agency - would this open an unnecessary can of worms or will it prove somewhat therapeutic for me?
