Genuinely shocked that we'll be sending Griffin to Brussels

I think everyone should be concerned about the low turnout across Europe. No-one feels connected with their MEPs (or in most cases could even name them) or understands what they do. Whether you're pro- or anti-Europe, that's a bad thing; I do some work in Brussels and though I'm pro-Europe even I find the arrogance of the attitudes you find there quite breathtaking.

Still shaking my head after last night - not just because of the UK results either.
