prob ww2 but rebates - new debit payments or a cheque?

Sent my rebate form back yesterday, i noticed on the form my debit payments were getting adjusted to reflect claiming the rebate back, whereas people i have spoken to said they are receiving a cheque.

They have paid for their ticket the same as me, 12 months direct debit, payed before the first deadline, going down the ground tomorrow to find out what is happening, personally i would prefer a cheque and have it all at once.

does anyone know how the club have screwed them out of their whole rebate? cheque or debit? What do you think about that?
